My first visit to the Solent and Isle Of Wight. I was staying in Sandown. The weekend was brilliant thanks to the lovely and wonderful company of Sharon(Thanks Sharon)and exclusively good weather (it rained on the mainland all weekend apparently)

Cropredy 2007 was very hot 29c, and dry & featured The Strawbs, Joolz Holland, Wishbone Ash, Liefe & Liege album. Thanks to all who turned up this year Gaz, Tim, Martin, Maz, Gray, Me, Graeme, Keefy, Janice, Isaac, Mo, Ali, Davey, Yvonne, June & 2 Sumo wrestlers who appear to have overdosed on the Welsh Oggie stall. A sell out this year, it was the 40th!

On May 12 Stevenage came from 2-0 down to win the FA Trophy final at Wembley 3-2. It was the first competitive game at the newly built world famous stadium. There are some snaps of the open top bus parade which they showed off in the town.

10cc, Steeleye Span, Bodega, Deborah Bonham Band and Glen Tilbrook took part in the 39th Cropredy. The weather was pants but the laughter and fun was outstanding.

People of all ages, cultures and backgrounds united in enjoyment of a single event. It is the largest free festival of world music in the UK and it takes place in the streets of Hitchin.

Now an established part of Stevenage's music scene, this festival is aimed at the whole family (last year, over 5,000 people attended) with amusements for the kids and stalls for the mums and dads. The streets of Hitchin, Hertfordshire are annually transformed into multiple stages of music and entertainment and acts from all over the world.

Brent Pelham annual blues fest in the east herts countryside. Mayfest is held every whitsun. Two main stages and a beer tent.

Mount Usher Gardens, Ashford, Co Wicklow, Dublin, Galway & Connemara. Karina (from Arizona) & I visited the Emerald Isle in the summer of 2002. So many colours!
